Fire Pit

Since we are looking for a house, Charles told me that my mother's day present was a fire pit. We went out and picked one out today.

Mormon Night at the Storm Chasers

We went as a family with my parents and sister to watch a Storm Chaser's baseball game. It was "Mormon Night" that night, so we got discounted tickets for being BYU alumni and some of the missionaries sang the National Anthem. It was a fun night, even if it was rather windy to begin with.

Last day of Pre-K
Today was Sydney's last day of Pre-K. She has grown so much since last August when she started. I can't believe that next fall she will be gone all day in Kindergarten.

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, we had a nice relaxing day at home. Well, that is after church and church meetings (I had to teach Sunday School on Mother's Day, how unfair is that?  Good thing I enjoy doing it.) After talking with family for a little bit, we went out on a family walk down to and around East Campus. It was nice to see some of the flowers, since we missed the spring ones since I was sick.

Why she is walking like that, I will never know.

The Complete History of the Old Testament in 10 Minutes

Picture19338

Sydney's school did an end of the year musical. Being a Lutheran school, it was the Complete History of the Old Testament in 10 Minutes. It took a bit longer than that, but it was cute.  Sydney had a blast performing and even enjoyed practicing for the performance.

I'm pretty sure she is either an Israelite here...I think this is Joshua and Jericho.

Law School Graduation

Picture19192

It has been three years, a few moves and callings, two miscarriages, thousands of pages of reading, hundreds of hours of studying, long nights, lonely days and way more money than I am comfortable thinking about, but Charles finally is done with school. I have never been so proud of my husband than I was today watching him get hooded and receive his degree(and he got it right there, so he really did graduate...he was thrilled to know that he didn't fail anything).
