Pioneers Park

It was so nice out, so we went down to Pioneers Park to walk around and check it out.



We thought this was pretty neat. This ramp is for sledding, so you get a good start and then the hill below it goes on for quite a ways. We were wishing we had found it before all the snow melted, but there is always next year.

Farther on in the park, they have a nature center that was closed by the time we got there, but the buffalo and elk were out where we could see them.

Planting Seeds.

Charles went up to the law school this morning, so Sydney and I decided to plant our flowers we got for Easter.

This kid never really smiles for me anymore...it's always fake smiles for the camera.



Don't worry, they ended up completely planted.

McAdams Park.

We went out for a walk and stopped by McAdams Park, which isn't too far from our house. This park has a playground that's just right for preschoolers, so we had fun watching Syndey run around.









"Am I going to go down this slide?"



"Sure!"



And she actually did it...she must be braver when Papa is with her.

Easter Dinner

I totally forgot to take pictures, but we had a lovely Easter dinner with Kyle and Charise Johnson and their boys, Damon and Jonas and Nate and Suzanne Anderson and their son, Lincoln. We all brought something to eat and it was nice enough to eat outside. We had a ton of fun. Sydney loves playing with the boys and it's always fun to have dinner with friends.

Easter Celebrations.

Sydney was really excited to wake up and find out that a bunny had visited our house. She was even more excited when she found out that he left "celebrations." That what she called the eggs and candy we put out for her to find.







We hid plastic eggs filled with jelly beans (bean jellies to Sydney) and the eggs she colored. The first hard boiled egg she found, she picked up and shook and just about put it back. What makes it even better is that one of my sisters (Chelsea, I think) used to do that too when she was little.

Children's Museum, yet again.

Sydney and I went to the Children's Museum...again. This was, like, the fourth time we've gone and she loves it every time. It was just us girls, since Charles was at school, but we had a lot of fun.



We rearranged the cosmos.



Sydney was a princess for a while...she loves to dress up as a princess.



We played with light. I'm not sure how it works, but the images interact with you...so here she is "catching the bubbles."



Sydney did most of her own make-up.



I did help some.



We checked out the Legos.



And drove a tractor.



Played with some blocks.



And joined the State Patrol.

Coloring Eggs

We colored Easter Eggs today. It was a TON of fun, especially since this year Sydney was really excited about it.
