We came home from the dams along the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Highway (a long, windy, nauseating road) to see the waterfalls. They were all just breathtaking and larger than any of the pictures you would see in the postcards in the giftshops...just tons of water falling.
Multnomah Falls
Elaine insisted on getting her feet wet and tasting the mountain water. It was actually pretty neat to hear her talk about how Kay would take all the kids hiking all around the mountains up there, having Lila drop them off and then telling her when and where to pick them up.
Sydney had a blast hiking around the waterfalls...and she was a pretty hardy little hiker too. She impressed all of us with her stamina.
